WANT!
Grats to you though, Id love to get one myself.
I wonder if they can only send them to those who have bought stuff from the online store at one point or the other? Ive bought the Million Player Prophecies pack and a couple of character slots but nothing corporeal (yes, i know, a long word for a Wednesday, Im proud of me too).
Anyway, grats to you again.

Just received mine card [834/1300]
Well, let's say I was quiet amused when I noticed that 'something' has came to me and I was twice amused when I opened the envelope and saw 'kinda-drunk' charr
It's very nice gift which I bet was quiet hard to produce[writing 1,300 signatures - anyone ^^?].
All I can say, is to wish you merry christmas and a happy new year

Thanks very much A-Net, Merry Christmas to you too.
When I got it through the post I was "hmm, thats's interesting" but then I saw it was numbered (mine is 76/1300) and that was neat. Then I looked at the signatures and as the seem to be originals (the only one I could recognise was Gaile's!) I was dead chuffed.
Can't help wondering why I was so blessed though;

It was posted from Brighton and to my CC address (I'm in the UK), and I bought CH2-4 online, so my address came from the online store.
I'm not the most prolific poster, but I usually don't post negative stuff and only flame FreakedOutFish (who doesn't?)
I have 28 maxed.
My SF/necrosis spamming build (using h/hs) isn't unique and other people can probably do it better.
I've only really helped newbies by pming them to advise why they are wasting their time trying to sell that +27hp mod for hammer for 20k.
My armour is rubbish.
So, I'm kinda wondering, why?
But regardless, thanks Anet, it was a really nice gesture and happy holidays to you too.

I'm #613. I would imagine its from participating every day in the hero battle beta testing (which I've never stepped foot in since).
However, I find much amusement in this as I've been temp banned several times this year here for being rather critical of Anet.
Anyways, it's all even now! I'll stash this away with all my GW gear I've accumulated.

Can't be beta testing as I've never done this and got one. But then it can't be for Anet-loving either from what you say.
I think it's probably for a bunch of different things, and these might vary in different territories. Or maybe completely random?

Lol at above poster.
I'm just really grateful to Arenanet. This wasn't even requested, yet they spent their own time and money (mailing these cards around the world is not cheap) for atleast some of us.
No, i'm not an Arenanet fanboy, but it gives me a bit of a chill to know if they were hand signed, that Gaile/Patrick and everyone else actually held MY card o-O. THanks Arenanet, and have a good Wintersday!
Just 1 leaving question, if the cards were actually handsigned, how come I cant get the ink off?

Actually, it's a special skill that they have, no ink, simply magic:
Spirit of Wintersday. Spell.
30e, 300s, 31536000s.
You create 1000..1500 postcards signed by Anet members, and they are sent to randomly selected GW players.

Cause Gaile's signature is where I put my oreo cookie and I didn't want ink to contaminate the cookie, because when I eat the cookie id become poisoned and die. After that, my parents would sue because their cards were dangerous and they did not put a "Caution: Ink may contaminate food" or "Not for use as a placemat" on the front of their cards.
